Grandfather Messick’s Advice

Over the decades, Golliver has seen many hard times, including the COVID pandemic. Advice from his grandfather’s final letter has proved true. “Even though it hasn’t been easy, you will find those things you’ve had to work hardest to attain will be the most rewarding and worthwhile.”

“You may not be the grandson who shares my last name, but you’re the one who has been carrying on my legacy,” the letter says. “I’m so proud that you chose to do so.”
